Chief Information Officer

A 14 year veteran of RingCentral, Ashu Varshney leads the company’s information technology (IT) strategy, organization, and Cloud Service Operations. With 20+ years of experience in the industry, Varshney combines visionary planning and agile leadership with an active involvement in the day-to-day operations. He has had a significant role in scaling and aligning systems and technologies with RingCentral’s growth priorities, driving process automation, efficiency and innovation. A hyper-focus on delivering best-in-class performance and standards compliance, he has been instrumental in transforming the company into an industry-leading world-class organization, delivering 99.999% reliability to its customers.

Prior to RingCentral, Varshney built and managed the Systems Operations team at WebEX/Cisco, forming a robust organization from the ground up in North America and overseas. He was appointed a board member of the Glilot Capital Partners Advisory Board in 2021 and is on his ninth term on the Advisory Board at BirdEye. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from National Institute of Technology Calicut.
